Course Description
This course fills the requirement for a third year of math. It is intended for those seeking a practical approach to consumer mathematics including, but not limited to, personal budgeting, savings and checking accounts, credit cards, and investments. Emphasis will be placed on increasing each student's financial literacy. There will be a major research project each semester. The grades on these two projects will be combined for the final exam grade.

Required Materials
- 1.5" 3-ring Binder, including loose leaf paper
- Pens (red, and blue or black)
- Pencils
- Highlighter
- Graphing Calculator (suggested model: TI-84+). NOTE: Students will be able to sign out a graphing calculator for the school year.
